Sitting around in garage waiting rooms, coffee shops and our living room this week meant that I made quite a lot of progress with my reading list. This year I plan to read 24 books which would be about 33% more than in 2024. I finished [The Book That Broke the World](https://bookwyrm.social/book/1589373/s/the-book-that-broke-the-world) which is the 2nd action-packed instalment in Mark Lawrence's Library trilogy. I started [Hunt the Stars](https://bookwyrm.social/book/427233/s/hunt-the-stars) which is a cheesy sci-fi that I picked up cheaply based on a recommendation from Mastodon. I also finished [Joan Westenberg's Friction](https://joanwestenberg.gumroad.com/l/dcyhu?layout=profile) and started [Dr Rangan's Make Changes that Last](https://drchatterjee.com/books/make-change-that-lasts/).
This coming week will be my first full week in my new role. I'll definitely write more about what my job is and what it entails in the next few days. I'm hoping to get settled into a relatively stable routine so that I can start some of the experiments I want to try, Weeknotes being one of them!
