Also, it’s extremely frustrating to watch people who’ve mostly been wrong, now claiming that they were right all along and that their views have been vindicated.
Reminds me of all the folks who poo-pooed the millennium bug in hindsight but failed to acknowledge the huge teams of software engineers who spent years adjusting systems to avoid catastrophe at the time.
